MPI Leadership
TREETOP is led by Dr. Jessica Merlin and Dr. Erin Winstanley, who have complementary research expertise and an established productive working relationship. Drs. Project Management
Project management is overseen by Melessa Salay, MPH, Administrative Director and Research Project Manager, who has more than 10 years’ experience in clinical trials and research. Ms. Salay oversees TREETOP operations at all four clinical sites, including project management plans and reporting, and ensures the integration of quality control and communication plans. All staff-supervising site project managers report to Ms. Salay.

Quality Control and Evaluation
Evaluation of TREETOP is led by Mary Goldberg, PhD and supported by Ms. Fuzexia Guo. Dr. Goldberg and Ms. Guo conduct impact evaluation for TREETOP as a center, for Center components, and collaboration with the IMPOWR Network. They are establishing a systematic plan for evaluating activities and outcomes and providing real-time feedback to inform course corrections and allocate resources. A web-based database is being used to collect and display data related to short-term and longer-term outcomes which allows TREETOP leadership to check real-time progress and milestones achieved for each component.
