The Building Research projects to Advance iNnovation and Careers in Healthcare (BRANCH) program is TREETOP’s Pilot Project Core. The BRANCH program has two primary aims:
- Develop innovative projects that advance understanding and treatment of co-occurring chronic pain and OUD that have a high probability of progressing to large-scale research projects and clinical trials, and
- Contribute to the research development of promising early-career investigators who bring diverse perspectives to our field. We encourage high-risk, high-reward projects and those that include a health equity and/or implementation science component.
